Authentic Sri Lankan travel experience

Three friends. A shared obsession. One mission to reconnect you with nature.

“Reconnecting humanity with the beauty, balance, and wild simplicity of nature.”

Driven by modern technology, humanity has gradually severed its bond with the natural world. This detachment leaves many experiencing isolation, stress, and a deep loss of inner balance.

Galora was created by three friends—a hiking coach, an elephant conservationist, and a tech leader with a camera. Having spent decades exploring Sri Lanka’s untamed landscapes, we knew travel could offer something far deeper.

Our mission is to bridge this gap by reconnecting travellers with the beauty, simplicity, and essence of nature. We blend expert mountain guiding with wildlife conservation to craft immersive, small-group wilderness adventures. From tracking wild tuskers to hiking hidden trails, we bypass crowded routes to open doors to authentic Sri Lanka.

We invite you to step away from the noise, restore your spirit, and rediscover your connection with the wild.

What drives us

Restoring Inner Balance

We design travel as an antidote to modern stress, giving you space to ground yourself in nature's natural rhythm.

Authentic Wildlife Access

We work alongside local community trackers rather than following crowded jeep lines, ensuring quiet, respectful encounters.

Intimate, Small Groups

You will never be one of forty strangers on a bus. We keep group sizes intentionally small for real connection.

Vetted Firsthand

Every trail hiked, river rafted, and elephant track followed is an itinerary we have personally explored and mastered first.

Sri Lanka is a year-round destination thanks to its two opposing monsoon seasons. For the east coast (Trincomalee, Arugam Bay, Passikudah), May to September has sunny skies and calm seas.

Tipping is customary and warmly appreciated, though not legally mandatory. A 10% service charge is often included on restaurant bills, but small extra tips for good service are welcomed.
